We are delighted that you have visited our website. In the following we should like to inform you about how we deal with your data pursuant to Article 13 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Usage data

In order to improve the quality of our websites, we store data on visits to our websites for statistical purposes. This data set comprises:
• the page from which the file has been requested,
• the name of the file,
• the date and time of the query,
• the quantity of data transferred,
• the access status (file transferred, file not found),
• the specification of the type of browser used,
• the IP address of the enquiring computer; this is abbreviated so that no reference to a person can be inferred.

3. Data security

We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data from undesirable access as comprehensively as possible. We use an encryption process on our sites. Your information is transferred from your computer to our server and information is transferred from our server to your computer by means of a TLS encryption system. You can identify this by the lock symbol in the status bar of your browser and the fact that the address line begins with https://.

4. Data transfer to third parties

In order to carry out commissioned data processing pursuant to Article 28 GDPR we transfer your data to service providers, who assist us in the operation of our websites and the associated processes. Our service providers are strictly bound by our directives to them and accordingly they are also bound by contract. We use the following categories of service provider: hosting service providers, web analysis service providers.

5. Data transfer to third countries

To some extent we transfer personal data to a third country outside the EU. In so doing we have ensured in each case that there is an adequate level of data protection.
In the case of Google Analytics (USA) and YouTube (USA) adequate data protection is accordingly ensured by their participation in the Privacy Shield Convention (Article 45 (1) GDPR.)

6. Cookies

On our websites the only cookies we use are session cookies. The data are processed on the basis of Article 6 (1) 1st sentence point (f) GDPR and in the interest of facilitating and optimising user navigation and of adapting the presentation of our website.

You can adjust your browser settings so that they notify you of the installation of cookies. This gives you transparency about the use of cookies. You can also adjust your browser settings at any time to prevent the installation of new cookies. Please note, however, that in this case our websites may not be displayed to optimum effect and some technical functions may no longer be available.

7. Google Analytics

In order to design our website to meet the needs of the market, we generate pseudonymised usage profiles with the help of Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are stored on your terminal and can be read by us. This allows us to recognise recurring visitors and to count them as such. The data are processed on the basis of Article 6 (1) 1st sentence point (f) GDPR and § 15 (3) Telemedia Act and in the interest of discovering how frequently our websites are accessed by different users.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, since we have activated IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address is first of all abbreviated within the Member States of the European Union. Only in exceptional case is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA (Google's participation in the Privacy Shield ensures an adequate level of data protection in accordance with Article 45 (1) GDPR) and is abbreviated there. We have also concluded a contract with Google LLC (USA) on commissioned data processing in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. Google shall accordingly use all the information strictly for the specific purpose of analysing our website for us and of compiling reports on website activities.

Unser berechtigtes Interesse besteht in der Berichterstattung über die Veranstaltung, an der Sie teilgenommen haben. Entgegenstehende schutzwürdige Interessen Ihrer Person bestehen nicht. Die Veranstaltung findet im öffentlichen Raum statt. Durch die Erstellung der Bildnisse und deren Publikation ist kein schwerer Eingriff in Individualrechte verbunden.

Grundsätzlich erfolgt keine Weitergabe der Daten an Dritte. Im Einzelfall behalten wir uns eine Datenübermittlung vor, sofern eine datenschutzrechtliche Übermittlungsbefugnis (insbesondere nach den nach den oben genannten Rechtsvorschriften) besteht.

Rechte der betroffenen Person


Betroffene Personen haben nach Maßgabe der entsprechenden Regelung der DSGVO das Recht auf Auskunft (Art. 15) über die sie betreffenden personenbezogenen Daten sowie auf Berichtigung unrichtiger Daten oder auf Löschung (Art. 16, 17). Es besteht zudem das Recht auf Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18) und in den Fällen des Art. 20 DSGVO das Recht auf Datenübertragbarkeit.

Widerspruch

Werden Daten auf Grundlage von Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO verarbeitet (Datenverarbeitung zur Wahrung berechtigter Interessen), steht der betroffenen Person das Recht zu, aus Gründen, die sich aus ihrer besonderen Situation ergeben, jederzeit gegen die Verarbeitung Widerspruch einzulegen.
Wir verarbeiten die personenbezogenen Daten dann nicht mehr, es sei denn, es liegen nachweisbar zwingende schutzwürdige Gründe für die Verarbeitung vor, die die Interessen, Rechte und Freiheiten der betroffenen Person überwiegen, oder die Verarbeitung dient der Geltendmachung, Ausübung oder Verteidigung von Rechtsansprüchen.

Beschwerderecht bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde

Jede betroffene Person hat das Recht auf Beschwerde bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde, wenn sie der Ansicht ist, dass die Verarbeitung der sie betreffenden Daten gegen datenschutzrechtliche Bestimmungen verstößt. Das Beschwerderecht kann insbesondere bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde in dem Mitgliedstaat des Aufenthaltsorts der betroffenen Person oder des Orts des mutmaßlichen Verstoßes geltend gemacht werden.

Your rights as a user

In the processing of your personal data the GDPR guarantees you as a website user certain rights:

1. Right to access (Article 15 GDPR):

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you are being processed; if this is the case, you have a right to access over these personal data and to the information listed in detail in Article 15 GDPR.

2. Right to rectification (Articles 16 and 17 GDPR):

You have the right to request immediate rectification of incorrect personal data concerning you and where necessary, the completion of incomplete personal data.
You also have the right to request that the personal data in question are erased without undue delay, provided that one of the grounds listed in detail in Article 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data are no longer needed for the purpose pursued.

3. Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR):

You have the right to request that the processing of the data be restricted, if one of the conditions listed in Article 18 GDPR exists, e.g. if you have objected to the processing until a check of some sort has been completed.

4. Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR):

In certain cases, which are listed in Article 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data in question in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that these data be transferred to a third party.

5. Right to object (Article 21 GDPR):

If data are collected on the basis of Article 6 (1) point (f) (data processing to safeguard legitimate interests) you have the right on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing. We shall then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrable compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Pursuant to Article 77 GDPR you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, if you consider that the processing of the data in question breaches the provisions of data protection law. You can assert this right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the Member State where you are domiciled, at your place of work or at the place of the alleged breach.
